Wikipedia globe... in physical space!
We have been working with Wikipedia to create this piece for their office.
Something to excite visitors and inspire volunteers.
A real - live globe! Well... at least half of one.
Made from CNC carved layers and then built up, this was carved directly from the 3D model of the globe. You can see the layering as striping on the piece.
It is to hang on the wall.
And two of the puzzle pieces come out. It's interactive!
