Sun Study A sun study to show shading effects and to summarize all the sustainable design features. Another standard in all our document sets, clearly communicating to city officials and potential investors / buyers the benefits of the design.
Clarity with Building Information Modeling All of our projects are 100% BIM, (Building Information Modeling) reducing errors, clarifying communication, increasing production, and producing more opportunities for creating real value.
First Floor A drama-filled entry, spilling into large family and entertaining spaces, all open to the outside and the stunning views of the site.
Second Floor Axon The mezzanine level not only provides privacy via separation of the bedrooms into the rear of the house, it also incorporates a self-contained in-law / office with it's own entry.
Penthouse The grand stair blossoms into a private master suite 'penthouse' and ample roof decks with a living roof, raised vegetable beds, hot water solar system, and an automated venting skylight system. Sustainable luxury!
Private Courtyard The bold main entry of the house makes for a small private courtyard, framed by operable panels and pool. When open, the panels will make the outside front court simply feel like another room of the house.
Stunning Indoor Stairway Stained concrete and sustainable woods make for a stunning, yet warm, interior. A dramatic element of the house, the stairway is displayed in the center of the first floor, creating a sense of space and drama.
Night View From Street The front stairs float above a garden which is made up of local species that help filter and slow rainwater run-off from the house's grey water system. As a standard we include these rendered views in our document sets, which always makes city departments happy.
The Lot as it Was The lot as it looked when we were introduced to the project. Undocumented changes, unknown conditions, and half-finished elements. A challenging lot to say the least.
