It's time for our regular 2nd-Thursday-of-the-month open house / project salon / OMGBBQWTF called EatFoodTalkShop! We're going to get these going again from their brief hiatus due to moving. So count on a monthly show-and-tell for Makers! Bring a project, or a story, or just curiosity and questions.

Please drop by and help us eat food, drink libations, and share project stories. We'll be showing off our recently finished projects for Wikipedia and Bookrenter. Frank will strut his stuff as well with a few demos.

We'll have some food and drink, you bring some more and your friends! Kids welcome, but it is a shop and a party. Lots of sharp corners. And they might learn some interesting new words.

So please drop by and help us eat food, drink libations, and share project stories. We'll be showing off our recently finished project: our new digs! Frank's got upgrades, our new office rocks, and the fabrication studio is all setup for fast production.

For those of you who offered in the past to help us with moving, and for those of you who did not... ; ) All of the boxes and stuff have already been moved. Now it's just painting, cleaning, sorting, disassembling, re-assembling moving wood, cutting stuff down, putting stuff up and general party time. Come join the party! Hey everyone-- We are purging our ever growing supply of wood scraps this weekend. First come first take basis. Everything must go! Well, everything in the designated pile... We have a lot of small pieces of hardwood and small to medium pieces of nice plywoods, including teak, walnut and maple. As well as a lot of smaller pieces of euro-ply (13 ply maple) We will be around from noon to 6 on Saturday And from noon to 6 on Sunday Come and get it! Hello all!! Jillian and Jeffrey are at a conference in Arizona this week, so we are going to postpone the monthly EatFoodTalkShop until next month. Please join us again on February 11th to celebrate this new year and say good riddance to the old! We'll pick up again and try to keep to the 2nd Thursday schedule. We thank you all for your continued support in making these meet up nights fun and interesting. Such a diverse group of people show up every month to share new ideas and show off projects. It is really inspiring! And we hope to get even more inspired in 2010! --- The Because We Can team.
