Hey there!

Rub your hands together and put your jacket on. It's time to warm your soul at Because We Can!
We'll be cooking up some hot cider (with a nip of something special if you're good), and making little BWC keep sakes.

Come see what we're making! We're not even sure exactly what it will be! But most likely, you'll get to take one home.

Bring some BBQ, snacks or drinks to share.

We still have some small prototype pieces for sale, and we have a ton of Trees from our store available for sale!

So come on by, bring a friend, bring a project, buy a tree, drink some cider!

While summer is ending around the country, it just got here for us!

Come enjoy the warm Oakland nights at Because We Can's open house: EatFoodTalkShop!

We'll be cookin' up the BBQ and showing off the beginnings of our new front reception space.

magbooth will be here with one of their awesome photo-booths (available for rent!)

And we will be having a soft-launch of our new brand 10MilesWide - a design company that focuses on real estate with difficult preexisting conditions in a troubled market.
Come see what *that* is all about, and give your two cents! (exact change only)

As usual, it will be a night of BBQ, beer, networking and inspiration.
We'll be showing off out latest ideas and products, and we encourage you to

Hey all! It's time for another EAT FOOD TALK SHOP tonight. 2nd Thursday of the month. It's still at our shop, but will be hopping around town in no time.

It's kinda like a Dorkbot / Meetup / Maker Day / Pepakura but with BBQ & beer and a little more fabrication-focused.

Bring something to share and something to show off (or at least the desire to talk to other fabricators). Bring your friends too! This time we'll be carving pumpkins. So bring a gourd of your choice and carve away! We'll be making hot dogs - so bring something to add to the mix...

Goes from 6:30 PM to 9PM at The Because We Can headquarters.

There's parking, a new grill (yay!), and old grill, a big fridge, a big robot, and plenty of room. We don't have a video projector or forklift (yet) so if you need one to show off what you brought then you'll need to bring your own. We hope you can make it!

Watch out for the giant fire snail that showed up last time!
