Custom Butcher Block Kitchen Island
This Asian-inspired table was made with apple ply (a sustainable maple high-grade plywood made in America) and a pine butcher block top. With joinery based upon fine Japanese woodwork, the base of this table is made without a single nail or screw. The top is a solid piece of butcher block with cherry inlay. There are 2 slide-out cutting blocks, one on either end, that pull out from underneath the butcher block for extended counter space. They also pull completely out for easy cleaning.
The table stands 2ft x 4ft x 3ft tall.
