The Long Now Foundation is a very cool non-profit organization that promotes long term thinking.
So cool that Brian Eno is on the board of directors! They came to us through a friend, needing some aluminum signs made for an ad campaign of theirs. We gladly stepped up to help! We carved 4 large aluminum blocks with their desired text. Here you can see an example of one of them just after it was cut:

The lettering came out incredibly clean.
A combination of using a new sharp bit, and very soft, light aluminum. The "v" carving also generally makes a very clean edge, and a great carved look! Here is a close-up:

The pieces were made for an ad campaign where they were shot infront of Long Now's Millennium clock (a clock that they are making that will run for 10,000 years, no joke). Once properly polished the plates really looked good! The spreads look very cool:
