Jeffrey McGrew's Bio

Jeffrey McGrew comes from a deep background of professional design, Architecture, and the industry of construction.
For the last three years he has been the co-owner of the Design Build company, Because We Can, which has immersed him in product and furniture design from small decorative pieces to complete interior spaces, all with a heavy focus on leveraging CNC-driven tools and Building Information Modeling. Running these large scale production jobs involves everything from initial concept designing, to physically building the interior spaces or piece, not to mention managing the creation of conceptual designs for the client, complex fabrication computer modeling, CNC production, and hiring and managing outside contractors.

He is finishing his Architectural Licensing exams, and plans to have them completed this year.
In his non-existent moments of spare time he likes to draw, read, and learn more about tools and programming. Occasionally he gives presentations on BIM (Building Information Management) at local and national conferences, though wishes he spent more time making bad rock songs in Garageband, going to Tiki Bars, and keeping the Because We Can '67 Dodge van running.
